Thanks for the responses. I've been thru the manual. I am using the sync recording which is a great feature. It should create a track after sound levels drop below a certain level for a certain amout of time and it used to. I'm recording from a cd transport using optical out. After +10 plus ysr of excellent performance, I'm not too worried about this, just inconvenient. Any kind of reset maybe ?

I've had this unit for +10 yrs and it has worked flawlesly. I've recently starting recording discs on it after yrs of only playing. It's not marking the tracks automatically. I can mark them manually, but that's a pain. I don't remember having to set anything to make it do it automatically. Any ideas why. I'm using Optical in.
