Any insight on how to erase or shut off Vaio Messenger and Vaio media etc processes and all the other nonsense a new machine comes with? I have tried through msconfig but they still start up. The people at Best Buy offered to "take off the junk" when I bought it, for a price of course, but I was confident I could do it myself. (hello..) Thanks for any help. (I bought my VPCF1 two years ago and only use it periodically for gaming.)
