Hello Rai-Clan, thanks for your reply. Can anyone recommend a good lapel microphone to use with the Sony MZ-NH900 to make audio recordings of lectures / sermons? I have been using the Vivanco EM35. However, it seems to be out of production. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you. George

Hello I am a longstanding minidisk user. I have a number of Vivanco EM 35 microphones which I use to record lectures and sermons onto my Sony MZ-NH900. A few weeks ago I purchased a Vivanco EM 216 microphone. I have used it twice. It seems to have recorded satisfactorily. However, when I attempt to play the recordings into my audio editor on my laptop using a Logik 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable no sound comes through. I have no such problems when playing in recordings made using my Vivanco EM 35 microphones. Can anyone help? Thank you. George
