  1. What about releaising its code into the public domain. SS Is far to slow to use for anything over 1 album worth of tracks and is always Freezeing or crashing for no apparrent reason. I have worked in this industry for over 39 years and could have had my 9 year old make a better system. I will work for free (umtill you can see this is a viable optune) Sony will get all the pats on the back aslo I will sign an NDA to that fact. Dont leave it to long as I don,t want to work for Apple and this would safe my day. Tom PS Im sure people would love to be able to drag and drop and to be able to have defferent blocks on the player say for all their Dance Music and another for Slow and not having it all mixed up. Even a search function would make my day.
  2. Connected my NW-HD3 and tried ti upload some new tunes but it looks like SS has lost the libary, which I may add took hours to update at the start. Any idea how or why this happened. Win 7 Ultimate x64 Music I have on my disk is 51GB so you can guess why I was annoyed this all disapeared in SS.
  3. ok after installing 10 times I got fed up and was about to throw every thing out the window when my 9 year old said to just see if it started. AND the damn thing worked, even though it kept giving those errors while installing and halting. sigh..... Thanks for all the help bud
  4. tried the installer from here and still got the same error
  5. nope still have the same error I assume a. you did not have the NetMD unit connected when running the install not connected b. You turned off driver signing (just in case) never use it c. You disabled any antivirus, firewall (NAT is normal and fine), and possible also DEP. (Google it) all disabled d. You are properly connected to the internet (for validation of existing encryption keys). It's possible Sony's server was down at the time - this happens occasionally. connected and downloaded its the install that fails seems to screw up on the sonic stage add on ........grrrr
  6. sorry I have no exp with using this as I purchased it second hand (with full warrantry). I have had an iPod but was looking for something that actually sounded good. I believe I had the unit pluged in while installing so will reinstall and get back to you.
  7. This just will not install for me I try to install and get this error " Installation process for Sonic Stage 4.3 has been terminated (2051, 20698) Tried running in XP compatability. Tried to run under Win virtual machine but then can't connect to my Music drive. Can anyone help ?
