Hi all Is there a reason why my HiMd recorder is not recognised when plugged to my Pc with standard Md loaded? Everything is fine if the unit is loaded with a 1gb HiMd, I can tranfer and import songs with SS, but when I load it with a standard disc it won't work. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

alright, I know it may sound boring, but I can't fix this.. I'm trying to connect a Md player to my Pc via RCA male 1.5 cable. One end into headphone's socket of the MD unit and the other on Line In of my laptop (not the microphone socket). I tried to configure Audacity to transfer live recordings from Md to my Pc but nothing happens, just noise and noise, no music at all. Any other settings to be checked maybe? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also, even if my laptop is very new and up to date it doesn't have any optical socket, should I try to look for an additional soundcard which can be put in a USB port, or something else similar?

Hello everybody I'm facing few problems with my Mz-nh1 when I try to connect it to my Pc. It's everything in order when I insert a Hi-Md disc 1gb, the unit comes recognised straight away, the Sonic Stage works perfectly, I can transfer songs, etc.. the problem arises when I connect the unit with a non Hi-md disc loaded in, ie a normal 74 or 80 mins disc, the unit doesn't connect to my pc and...nothing happens, just dead... any idea why? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
