I am so disappointed with SONY, as big a corporation as it is, decided to drop the software for MD's on their website. It's one thing to stop updates it's another thing to stop "product programs for discontinued items". How difficult and how much effort is it to have the MD programs there? It could state something like "no MD product support other than the downloads" or something like that. I could understand not having dedicated persons on board for online queries...but to totally delete programs is really not nice to past customers.
