In need of help from more technical able people, so hopefully someone can walk me through this problem?
I have used Sonicstage to rip my music and had it set to rip into wav file format. I still want to keep that library, but to also transfer the library or copy it so that I can use it on another portable player. I have tried dropping a couple of albums onto the new player but there must be a security feature as the music doesn't play properly. Every couple of seconds there is a loud burst of hiss when playing the albums on the new player.
I then ripped an album onto the PC using Windows media Player and transferred hat to the player and it played fine. So there seems to be some type of security feature in play to prevent people sharing music with others, even though I ripped my CDs in wav format? Does anyone have any idea on how to get rid of the problem so that I can simply transfer the wav files from the Sonicstage library but without the added hiss?
The player I have just bought is the iBasso HDP-R10 and runs on Android. Is it possible to run Sonicstage on the new player, perhaps some type of app that would allow that? Then I could just use the existing library without having to re-rip my music again. Or is it possible to make Sonicstage think the new player is an atrac3 player when I connect it to my PC?
Truly would appreciate any help you can offer to me.
