Hi got a fully working 2nd mz rh1 off ebay only problem nothing came with it except a battery and a 80 min disc. It has a broken toggle lever so im looking for a remote to use with it if any anybody has one to sell. Cheers

Hi everbody, Firstly id like to thank Azureal and Losio for their help, thanks guys. I got it working now, without the battery. I took your advice. The power supply has not arrived yet, the unit powered up tho when I hooked it up using my iphone charging plug! I then installed the drivers and sonic stage ultimate edition from this great site, the unit then powered up via USB. I just got to read the downloaded instruction manual and figure out how to use sonicstage now :-) I might get a battery although no plans to use this recorder outside.. so will wait and see if I can pick up a bargain. Thanks again, and good to find this great site.

Hi everyone first post here. Ive just bought a second hand sony mz rh1 it came with just a usb cable and headphones and remote. No power supply/charger or battery or software or manual. Ive ordered a power supply online. The question is ive tried connecting the unit to my pc via usb but the unit seems dead and the pc dont recognize it. Ive tried pressing all the buttons on the md unit to turn it on lol but alas still nothing. What do I do next? Cheers.
