I have a Network Walkman Nw-HD5 for just over a year and have had no problems with it – at least not until just before Christmas when I suddenly couldn’t get the ‘load file’ command to work. Sonicstage just stopped working with an ‘Internal error’ message every time I tried to import one of the mp3 files on my hard disk.. So last week I upgraded to Sonicstage 4.2 thinking this would solve whatever the problem was. But I still have the same problem. The program crashes every time I try to import a file or a folder. I’ve tried removing ‘old’ files form my library and tried importing them again – all to no avail. And worse still, I can no longer register with the CDDB service. Just get the message ‘Socket open failed’. So I can no longer transfer any files to my NW-HD5 which renders it pretty useless! Anyone know what’s gone wrong?
