  1. Hi, and thanks for replying! Yeah 5 volts, that's right. Ok, so it shouldn't be a problem? Also I have a depleted 3.6v 800 mah lithium-ion battery that needs to be replaced. There seems to be replacement batteries available but some of them have slightly different specs. For instance, a nearby shop have a similar battery but it seems to be at 3.7v 1000 mah. I'm no expert so I have no idea if that replacement battery works or if it must be specified as 3.6 volts/800 mah. Finally I'm looking to hook up my MD player with my notebook PC, which has a mic/line-in combo jack and a combined headphones/Spdif jack. Would I be better off acquiring a sound card of some sort to use as pass-through? Thanks again Anders
  2. Hi! I own a Sharp MD-MS722H portable MD player, which I bought in the UK 16 years ago. Unfortunately the mains adapter is damaged, the "gumstick" lithium-ion battery seems to be exhausted and I cannot find the attachable AAA battery compartment that came with the MD player. So I need to either buy a new AC adaptor, a new battery compartment or a new replacement lithium-ion battery. What I would like to know is if I can buy a generic adaptor and use with my MD player or if there are anything that I should be aware of when looking for a replacement. As I mentioned, I bought this player during my stay in the UK and I live in Sweden. As far as I know Sweden and the UK have the same mains voltage and frequency standard (230V/50Hz) but the sockets differs. Are there any other aspects I need to consider? Thanks in advance. Anders
