    I wanted to spread some info regarding this. I had no luck using Parallels with either Windows XP or 8, with SonicStage 4.3. Upon connecting a Hi-MD walkman, it would always crash the Operating System. I tried VMware Fusion (the competitor to Parallels), and voila, IT WORKS! VMWare Fusion with XP.
