Ok, What does "fix it" entail. it works fine as a playback machine and I'm ok with only using as a playback only machine

I have a sony mz-n505 type r netmd recorder. when using sonicstage to transfer new music to the minidisc this music has no sound and eject and reinserting the disc shows as blank. editing the track data or naming the discs also cause the above blank disc problem also using the recording function on the player also erases the discs after ejecting and reinserting on my laptop i have sonic stage 4.3 and the 64 bit drivers on windows 10 any help is appreciated
