Hey I own a nw-e407, and I recently formatted my mp3. I used to use MP3FM where, if there were songs with Chinese characters in the file name, I would rename them and then transfer the songs over using click and drag. I found this process to be somewhat tedious, so I decided to have a crack at SS again. I recently followed Ishiyoshi's instructions for Titling ATRAC Files In Japanese/Chinese/Korean, ... using non-Japanese SonicStage 3.x - 4.x, as well as downloading the altered 3.4 SS Japanese version (altered for English windows). I have also been using applocale. The installation process went very smooth, but as I was searching for music in my computer I would come across an error in which I have screen shotted. I am unsure how I to resolve this issue. Also, when I load SS through either through applocale or without it, in the fullscreen/maximized view, the menu bar flickers and the items within SS start freezing up. I am able to close SS by normal means, but I am also unsure of how to rectify this problem either. ONce the screen 'freezes up' in order for the search menu for audio to pop up, i have to alt+tab out and then back into SS before it comes up. I have to repeat this process for each new screen.
