I have purchased a Sony Vaio van ar11s which has wIndows 7 installed. I want to return the laptop to its purchase state, with all the original Sony software installed. I have tried a recovery via the f10, but to no avail. I presume that who ever installed the windows 7 wiped the hard drive completely.
my question is where, if I can, get the original software and operating system.
I have noticed that there are a few pieces of hardware not working, ie optical drive release button, not working. I presume these may well be down to the system not having the Sony Vaio control software installed.
