I've got an NW-HD1 and HD5 but I was wondering if there was a way of getting them to work with itunes ?.I've searched the forum for answers but nobody ever said that it couldn't be done. There's a few threads about it but nothing clear comes out of them. Cheers Vinny

I've had a look around and can't seem to find info about this query anywhere so here goes. Is there a setting on the NW-HD1 which allows me to have all songs playing at the same volume level.I sometimes get a bloody shock when I'm listening in shuffle mode and all of a sudden a song comes on that's pretty loud and has me jumping out of my skin. Thanks Vinny

Already had Soundforge installed but never used it too much.To be honest I found it a bit too complicated my simple mind ,but thanks to using other software I'm getting the hang of it and I think I can use it.I'll let you know what happens. Thanks guys. Vinny

It hasn't happened with all of them.I would say it happens with about 75% of them regardless of their format.

Most of the files I have a problem with are ripped from original CD's.

It's not a really serious problem, but more an annoying one.The way I always see it is like your looking at a stage. The guy playing guitar on the righthand side should have his sound coming out the the righthand speakers and the guy on the left comes out of the lefthand speakers. Well this is how it should be but with my player it is reversed, the guy on the right has his sound coming out of the left etc. Like I said it's not a serious problem, just a bit annoying and was wondering if it could be hacked in test mode ? After finally getting my player working (long story) I was amazed by the sound quality but one thing is annoying me. When I'm listening the sound coming from the right earpiece should be coming from the left and vica-versa (if ya get my drift). For years I've been listening to songs one way and now all of a sudden Atrac has changed this around. Is there a way I can change this ?,and no I wont change my headphones around. Thanks Vinny

Deleted everything including what the link from Veezhun said.Drivers are up to date and windows up to date.Downloaded SS3 and installed it. Placed the player in the cradle and my heart sank as the computer froze as usual. Somebody suggested to me that it might be a power problem.

First things first.Hello.Nice place you got here and I hope it wiil be of some use to me if I get my problem sorted. I bought a NW-HD1 the other day but cant get the software to recognize it.I installed the software and followed all the instructions in the manual. The computer picked up the new hardware and installed it but when I went into SS it said that there was no device connected.I then went to my computer and all i got was a blank screen and then my pc froze all programmes. I took the player out of the cradle and everything came back to normal.I put the player back into the cradle and got the same problems again.I've tried re-installing and downloading SS 3.2 and updating drivers but nothing seems to work.I also brought it back to the store where we installed it and it worked fine. I would appreciate any help you guys can give me.
