ummm..if you have the volume on 30 i would probably think you are already completely deaf or your device is defective....i keep my volume between 13-14 for a maximum punch and about 15-16 maybe while i'm in the car....for the bass part maybe your equalizer settings are a bit off...try this setting which is what i use cb+3, 0, -1, +1, +2, +3.....I found this the perfect balance for me with an amazing bass punch.

I meant the usb flash player e00X series...i'm using the headphones that came with that one.

cb+3 0,-1,+1,+2,+3 with dynamic normalizer I can't see why alot of you are complaining about the bass on this player. It's amazing and the eq is all about balance..duh..I suggest most of you try my setting if you want to be able to feel the bass punch...I am also using my e005 headphones I should note and wow the sound even on these is amazing.

atrac advance lossless will take up too much space even at 64kb.....I would stick with atrac 132plus but definately do not further convert any mp3s. I have found that 132 is perfect for me...excellent sound and leaves space on my player.

Hi!
