Hello! I recently got Sony car cd player, which is able to play atrac. I transfered all of my original cd's into 256 atrac format and now I'm trying to create atrac cd. The problem is that some of the songs does not fit into cd and I tried checking how big the file is on my hard. The situation is like this. Album takes 89 MB on hdd, but when trying to transfer to cd it takes 115MB?? How come the size is so different??

Im not at home right now, so I cannot check. But the thing was, it asked me which size do i want, default is 64kbps, and it let me choose, 256 and even 320, but I dont want to do that. I just want to do transfer as it is, and it does not let me. But as i said, i cannot remember exact words why.

Hello! I just got new car stereo with atrac support, so I decided to convert my original cd's to atrac to see if theres any difference. I used 192 kbps, as I supposed it's the best ratio between size/quality. And after getting 50 cd's to my library, i started making atrac cd playlist. But, it does not let me transfer it! It wanted to do it in 64 kbps only. It doesnt want to do it in 192. And i really dont want to convert already converted albums. Please help. TY

I have one question regarding Jackets also. What would be the best size for creating jackets? And how come sonicstage does not put jacket automatically when importing cd's?

Hello! I recently bought NW-S703 with much music on it allready, and now I tried to change it. The player was set to play music based on playlists, rock, hip hop, trance, etc. and I wanted to delete whole genre, i.e. trance, and it worked. Well, kinda, it deleted the playlist trance, but space usage was the same. Then I sorted by albums and all albums and artists with trance songs were intact. And there are like 40 or 50 different albums with only 1or2 songs. Is there no way to delete whole playlist with matching songs? And second question. Is there any way to transfer songs from player to computer? My library? Many thanks.

Well, the thing is, I am not really willing to spend money on 1or2 gigs MS for psp to play extra games, so Im stuck with these few I have. And with only 32MB ms, I cant really watch videos, listen to music, play games... And I had my eyes on a1000 since i first saw it. But, as I heard, Sony is preparing something new, maybe even better this fall. Btw, this a1000 is completely new and with warranty.
