Ok, thanks, i'll give this a go and let you know EDIT: Ok, i copied everything to my PC, and formated, then created the OMGAUDIO folder and the .dat file again. It is now recognising my player in winamp with the 18. gb. I am now copying all the GYM files back on, and hopefully it should work again. But i am a little cautious. I don't want to get say 2000 songs on there and then one file that it can't read causes the win32 error meaning i would have to format again I'm going to put one album on at a time to be a bit safer and if it DOES happen again, i'll let you know. and it should be a bit more narrowed down EDIT 2: I copied all the GYM files back, but the tracks are still unreadable. does this mean i am going to have to go through the whole GYM coding again? EDIT 3: After a full new keycoding session, (ehich didn't work first time) and some reformating and copying later... I finally got music on to my player that played. I am using MP3FM this time, which may be the reason I'm not quite sure, but i will stick to it, an album at a time. Thanks for your help

I got it all sorted The songs are playing, i have a fresh database to start again, and i have the winamp plugin which is far better and faster than sonicstage! Thanks alot for your help and for these wonderful programs EDIT: So it looks like it didn't work. Half way through transferring some albums, i got the "System 32 Error" Now it doesn't recognise my player, and i can't get any thing on to it because there is 0gb free I tried deleting the OMGAUDIO folder and starting again. But i really don't want to format, it took me about a day to copy all the temp files and and generate the decodekey. Any help?

I didn't have mp3fm installed when i posted before, but i installed it later that night, and it didn't make a difference. The tracks still wouldn't play. I tried importing them through mp3fm and it just crashed i'm gonna keep trying things for a while, see if i can get a result. And i don't know how to use GYM, so i may look into that Any other info or feedback would be greatly appreciated

Hey, can someone please help me. I have had my NW-HD3 for the past 2 years. The device is great. But the software is a pile of rubbish! I had a few problems with it from time to to time, but all of a sudden a couple of months ago i decided it wouldn't transfer ANY music and it would sit there and not respond. Then i found out about ML SONY. it all seemed to go well. I got a new album on my MP3 player, but whenever i went to play the new stuff it says "cannot play track error". So i decided maybe i need to start a fresh. So i initialised my HDD to start again, but whenever i add the albums, it still says the same thing. I am wondering because in the readme it says about copy protection MP3FM/DVId.dat files. Now i don't have a clue what these are, and i'm not sure which files my MP3 player needs. So if anyone can be more specific or tell me what i am doing wrong i would be very greatful P.S. I am not moaning that my database got erased. I knew it would, and i'm not too bothered, it was full of rubbish anyway and i would like to start again. All i need to do is figure out how to get the tracks to actuall read Thanks again in advance. I hope there is some answer to my problems
