Insane

Yeh I heard about the connect store being closed, and yes I would love to live in Japan close to my beloved sony There was adverts for the Walkman Video on the MTV channels but they were truely CRAP! It was like all cartoony...just EURGH! This reminds me of the new zunes aswell! They should also include blu-tooth like the zune but have no limit on the amount of plays, I know music companies would loose loads of music but hey! The consumers would go mad about them!

Yes i understand that! But! You can download programmes that let you sync you walkman to itunes...so i don't see why sony wont just create a software to do that....and yes it probably against the law or its breaching the i-tunes crappy agreements! But seriously sony's connect store sucks! Before sony release this player they need to sort 3 things out! 1- Marketing 2- Bring sonic stage back but a re-defined version 3- Pricing! (what was going on with the whole a808! £170 while the iPod 5th gen was the same price! and you got so much more except for poor battery life and crap headphone)

I really hope they will see some sense soon and let people download music on to their walkman off i-Tunes! Argh Which is never going to happen but hey its just a dream:) Anyways! I really like this design, it's simple and the screen is nice and big. It reminds me of the NW-HD5, just with a bigger screen, video playback and lower capacity! But what sony really needs to be focusing on is marketing their new walkman! Other wise we all know nobody is going to hear about it and it's going to be a failure!

Not sure if anybody has seen this before? Its just been released in China, but sadly no news of it coming of here.
