Thank you, I'm glad I found this forum. Rats! Any idea how I might be be able to find out more about this? I would guess that it is a firmware upgrade?

I have been given a Sony Network Walkman NW-HD1 20Gb player and cradle by someone who had got fed up with Sony's strange file formats and software and has replaced it with a SanDisk player. Does anyone have any experience of the NW-HD1 or any software other than SonicStage for recording to it? Is it possible to use it with MP3 - other than by converting from .MP3 to ATRAC format? Remember, this is one of the early NW-HD devices. Many thanks, I really would appreciate any advice.
