I have never heard of the firmware actually being available. Just wanted to add my 'sony please make it available' to the lot.

the nwz-a810 looks identical to the nwa-800 to me. In my mind it should be made possible to load the firmware for the nwz model to the nwa model.

Hello, I recently was forced to format my memory on my NWA-800 unit. All went well; however, I attempted to transfer my video files back to the unit and found the video folder is not recreated after format. Could anyone please assist me, I need to know what is the name of the folder for video files. It is not in the user manual, and I am becoming very frustrated trying to guess at it! edit: its VIDEO with all caps. finally guessed at it. I hope sony will eventually move away from extremely cryptic hardware, and print important info in the actual user manual!

So what will become of Sonic Stage software? Seems a little pointless now.
