  1. Nay! Vista *spit* never. I went for good ol XP. The annoying thing is is that I can work 4.3 on my XP laptop but with this brand spanking new PC I get the following symptoms. My apologies for the lack of details in the previous post I was...a little wound up to say the least - Sonicstage 4.3 lags during normal use - Mousing over "Auto" transfer button gets me the "Device/Media not connected" in the transfer box - Some transfers (single files) gets me "Unable to transfer due to ..." messages - Opening the Auto Transfer options lags - Actually pressing the Auto Transfer button gets the '"Device/Media not connected" in the transfer box' problem circling before crashing Sony support = fail and thus I turn to you good people to help as for "It is so odd that some people faces problems" yeah...I wish I was part of the group who dont get problems
  2. Hi guys, I have been sneaking on your forum since my HD5 went nuts, (the old Repairing Database...fail thing) which you already solved for me. Now a new problem...Sonicstage....I just bought a brand spanking new PC and installed SS 4.Fail (the newest version) and it randomly disconnects my HD5, it crashes after every operation, it will not auto transfer, it lags like a 56k on a bad day just mousing over buttons. What alternatives are there to use without loosing the soundquality and obviously what program will convert the audio to work on the HD5? Please help, I am considering a 20gb Ipod because of this
