I have a friend that asked me to help him with his NW-E003f. I've never dealt with ATRAC before, so sorry if I ask something stupid. I have been reading, but still haven't found a solution. A different friend in a different state originally put some music on the sony for him. I tried to copy the songs to my computer, but then found out it won't let me use the files. I can't transfer anything else onto the device for him, since a different computer originally put the tracks there. If I transfer to my computer (even tho I can't play on my computer), then format the device and then transfer the files back to the device, will they work on the device? Any other suggestions? Two of the CD that are on the device are now badly damaged, so he really wants to get the music off the device. Thanks!
