  1. I am currently using this MP3 player: http://www.sonystyle.ca/commerce/servlet/P...h=n46881n100302 My computer is configured to display Chinese, Japanese, and Korean characters. I'm using Windows XP Professional SP2.
  2. How do I know Sonicstage will give me the options? How can I check and or verify this? How do I ensure that my configuration is correct? I know my computer can display Japanese, Chinese, and Korean characters with no problems. Sites encoded with those characters load up with no problems whatsoever. I tried downloading and installing the Sonicstage software from the Japanese website, but there doesn't appear to be any problems installing it. Can you be more specific with your response? I'm a bit confused right now.
  3. I modified my OS to automatically install the East Asian language pack when I reformatted my computer. I can't read Japanese, but I can read Chinese characters. I'm wondering if I can just download the Japanese or Asian Pacific version of Sonicstage and then just transfer my songs titled with Asian characters? Or I'll need to make those modificaitons like with the English version of Sonicstage?
  4. I ripped all the music from my collection of CDs and when I transfer it over to the player with Sonic Stage, it seems a bit on the slow side. Is the player attempting to re-encode my music? If so, how do I stop this from happening? I don't want to compromise audio quality!
  5. I recently bought this Sony MP3 player and for some odd reason, the Connect software won't let me transfer my music with unicode characters. It said those characters are unrecognizable or something like that and as a result, it won't transfer the music over. As a result more than 80% of my music cannot be transfer over to the MP3 player. This really pissed me off as during my 10 hour flight to Beijing, I listed to the same old 15 songs over and over again. Can anyone here tell me how to fix this without renaming each of the audio files? I thought Sony MP3 players support unicode?
