Well, I bought an mp3 player while I was in Europe (NW-E002) and noticed that the volume was quite low, so I headed over to my friend Google and found out about you guys. I browsed the forums and discovered that my mp3 player was manufactured after a recent law was passed in Europe to limit the volume on mp3 players. I. Was. Pissed. So anyway, I spent many hours searching the web for some sort of unlock code or something. Nothing. But I also noticed that none of you had a service manual for it. So I found a service manual for the NW-E00x series for $10 and bought it myself with Paypal (I now only have $2.25). Sad news though, it has nothing about unlocking the volume limiter. Oh well...
