I have had a look through the previous threads on removing the front cover of the NW-A3000 and there appears to be a few ways of doing it. And as there is no service manual for the NW-A3000 (there is only one for the NW-A1000 which isn't the same inside, as I have just discovered), I just wanted to know what methods you guys have tried and which is the easiest/best way of doing it?

If you alter the higher frequecies this will affect volume. If you turn the higher frequices up then percieved volume will also increase, and if you turn the higher frequencies down then percieved volume will decrease. This has nothing to do with the walkman, but the way your ear amplifies sounds of certain frequencies. Just a thought???
