I cant download the manual, will someone tell me how to bookmark tracks on HD NW5. I have tried but forgotten how its done

Ok I have bit the bullet and removed all the tracks on my player. so I can upload 75% of my files back again. But Something else has happened... Can you believe.. The screen of my player is now sideways , That is I have to turn it on its side to read the screen , its done a 45 degree turn to the left, How ever can that have happened. I am at a loss to believe that could happen

I went back to 3.4 because 4.3 would not allow me to use my player with it. I am afraid your suggestion is above my knowledge, No idea what you mean, but thanks anyway. i will have to just play the music i have on it and use any other MP3 player to play new files.. and guess what brand it wont be.

Ok, But the worst part is that I cannot ever transfer any more music to my Player EVER unless I delete everything I have on it.. Why does the onscreen message tell me that the version of Sonicstage I am trying to use is not the same version as when I transferred the tracks..surely that should logically mean that if I used the SAME VERSION I used to originally transfer than it should work. It doesnt make sense. Nothing to do with DRM.

I dont have any of my Cd collection or other music files On my PC. 75% of it is on my HD player. But why cant Sonicstage take it back from my player to a sonicstage library? Its all lost if I want to use the player again . I have to delete all the files , and I dont want to do that.

It actually tells me that because I used a previous version of sonicstage software to transfer files to my player that I HAVE TO delete all the tracks from my player to use 4.3, around 10gb worth of music will be lost. If that aint bad software I dont know what is. Big mistake getting this player.

I wanted to update from 3.4 to 4.3 because i was having problems transfer tracks to Device. I donot have the sonicstage disc only downloaded from internet software. I dont get any option to save files . When I connect my atrac device to sonicstage sofware I get the message about this version was not used with this device for File transfers. I used 3,4 when I transferred my files from software to device so that statement is incorrect.It does not give me any option now except to intialize the hard disk on my device or remove all the files from my device. I have a player that can never be used to upload again if I dont clear everything from my player.

I get error code 000066a3. And a suggestion that I need to intialize the hard disk of my device> can anyone help

I had problems downloading music files to my Atrac device , HD NW5, from my sonic stage software on PC. I reinstalled or downloaded sonicstage 4.3 (previously 3.4). but then I got a message when I tried to connect to the 4. that I would have to delete all my tracks from my device because it is not the same sonicstage as when I uploaded the tracks. So not wanting to do that I reinstalled 3.4 , to my horror I get the same message.. So I will have to lose all 10gb of my music files on my player to be able to use sonicstage agin? Surely this cannot be correct? This is an absolute nightmare , Why do Sony make things so difficult. Can anyone help me get around this problem.
