Help! I'm close to smashing my NW-A3000 to bits!!! I have had it 3 months and only last night, after the 3rd install (following 2 failed Sonicstage and 1 failed connectplayer attempts of getting more than 3 albums on the device, and about 3 hours to sony tech support who could only say I need to send the device to be tested, at a cost of £shed-loads) A major error in the first installs was the database file, and the lack of saving it! - any ideas what was going on there? the music was on the player, but SS and the player wouldn't recognise any of it! Anyway, on to the latest issue... The last install I deleated everything to do with sony and OpenMG off my PC, and SS (CP4.3) worked fine for about 2 hours (about 40 albums) but then, with no warning decided it didn't want to transfer music and wouldn't let me transfer,so i gave up (at least this time the databse file didnt corrupt and I can actually listen to music, I just cant add any more!). However today I am now getting an error saying I loaded my music using an old version of sonicstage and I need to format my device and delete all my music! What the feck is going on, I've never installed an earlier version on SS let alone transfered songs, please help, this is seriously pissing me off. Is this going to happen every day! I am going to have to strip my PC of all sony files and reload everyhting everytime I want to add a file!??? Whats wrong with sony, it cant be that difficult for a big multinationl to provide a simple bit of software surely!!! As I said, help please?
