i have tryed what you have suggested but i still have no transfer options i cannot even creat a cd using ss4.3

hi there i have a nw-a1200 player that came with 4.0 instalition disc we have vista down loaded 4.3 from sony but! i have no transfer options its a blank screen saying device/media not connected but it is in usb port computer detects it but sonicstage doesnt? i cannot creat music disc to cd or transfer to my player, i initilised my player lost my music (doesnt matter i have on my computer anyway) can any one help i have uninstalled sonicstage 4.3 and reinstalled but with the seme problem
