I have just bought two download music from the connect store. To my surprise, it has saved my payment details everything including the security number. I am a bit concerned about this and it will not let me delete the details. I would rather the computer does not store my personal payment details. I can delete my other details except this from the connect store. Please does anybody know whether this is normal when buying download from connect store and how do I go about deleting the payment details for good? I am in the connect website whenI buy download and there are no options to delete. Please help me as am a bit concerned about this. Thanka

Thanks Stuge, have just found, it asked to format it when I used SS 3, It seems OK now, the old computer has SS 3.3 and the new ones has SS 3.4. I have been to transfer music from the old computer to the NWA 608 without any problems. It will be a pain if everytime ones upgrade the software ones has to format it. Thanks again for your help.

I have got music in my old computer's library and I want to transfer them on the new NWA 608, why won't it let me and I have to initialize? Also I seem to be able to access the music library only when I use sonic Stage. I cannot access anything from my music in the C drive except the music already loaded by windows when I bought the computer. Is it OK to copy music and whilst it is doing its job searching on the internet at the same time. Thanks

Yes, this is weird, as all the music is in my library. The same thing happend with my husband NWE 407, I transfer the music using my old computer and it was fine. I bought a new windows XP and it will not let me transfer music to the NWE 407 and I had to initialize, and lost all the music,even system restore will not let me go back. I am sticking with SS 3.4 instead of connect. It's a brilliant little player, son wants one as well. Thanks for your help.

I have just updated to sonicstage 3.4, and had to delete everything from MP3 player again, is this the nor? I alos find I cannot skip tracks like I used to do before without going to the start menu. Any adivce, please.

Got daughter new NWA 608 this morning, have been using sonicstage 3 instead of connect. Am a newbie and a bit nervous to install connect due to the bad publicity. The MP3 player seems to be working fine, she just wants it to listen to the radio and music and will not be using the other facilities. I am wondering whether I should upgrade to sonicstage 3.4, and what am I mising for not using connect? My reluctancy is also due to the fact that when I bought a new computer, I could not transfer music I have copied from my old computer to thr MP3 player. I had to initialize it and lost all my music. I am also wondering whether I can only transfer music from the computer I have copied them e.g can I use my friend's computer to copy her music, she has the same ss software. Thanks

It's a new PC, had to do something with initializing, does not know what that meant but lost all the previous tracks I copied before. I thought it might be due to windows update. I tried to transfer using my old computer and the same thing happened, cannot transfer. At present I had to redo the whole lots and it's asking me things I do not understand e.g unknown settings. Will be glad for some help on the matter. I have also uninstall and re-install the software. Thanks

Suddenly I cannot transfer music from my library to my MP3 player, it's a sonicstage. I get this message. The connected ATRAC Audio device cannot be used with the currently installed sonicstage. To use the currently installed sonicstage, you must delete all tracks in the ATRAC Audio Device. Please help somebody, I do not understand what I am supposed to do. Thanks

I have copied some music on my old computer with the intention of transferring them back when I get my new computer. I was surprised that it will not let me transfer them back. It seems I have to restart all over again, also I do not seem to be able to make a copy of a CD of my favourite selected tracks. Any advice, please.

I will have to wait till he comes back to see what the problem is. He listens to his music daily unless he has charged it properly. I know when I did it in UK, it did not take long to charge but did not check how long it lasts. Thanks.

Got husband a NWE 407 to take on holiday with him and he said he is running out of battery very quickly. He charged it for nearly 5 hours and got only 2 hrs of listening. am not sure whether he is doing something wrong or is it something wrong with the battery. Will be able to check when he comes back on Monday. He was suposed to get 50 hours of play back and this is not happening. Has anybody experienced this problem before? Thanks

I need to reinstall my sonicstage 3 on my new computer. I am wondering whether it ill it be better for me to download sonicstage 3.3 on my new computer instead on reinstall with the cd which is version 3. Also I am waiting for delivery of a Sony NWA 608, can I install connect and sonicstage. I did intend not to install connect and using sonicstage only. I am not fussy I only need it to record and play music. Thanks

I have paid nearly £139 with discounts etc from Pixmania. the only shop, I have seen it here is Comet and they are selling at £159. Yes, I did consider buying in the shop because of their customer service and if anything goes wrong you just take it back to the shop. I am a bit disappointed with Pixmania, their website should have the item waiting delilvery on the 16/12 and they cannot get it and now it is 10/01/06. I wll see how it goes and probably have to cancel with them. With Pixmania, you get another year warranty but have to send it to their Paris base.

Dyon, have you bought it yet from Pixmania uk. They told me it was going to be in stock on the 16th today but now it is apparently out of stock and will nt be available until 10/01.06. Quite upsetting really. Why is it so difficult to get hold of one of these.

Will be using SS as well and like you, all I am interested is to transfer the music on the player. Old computer is a bit unpredictable at the moment, let's hope it hangs up a bit longer.

Received my USB travel charger from Hong Kong this morning. INPUT AC 110V-240V/50Hz 130mA OUTPUT: DC5V+5% - MAX: 500MA MIN: 50MA It's unbranded and made in china with the logo CE. Do not understand any of this except 240 V is ok to use in UK. Not sure how safe it is to use, shall I bin in? Cost me about £6 from e-bay.Thanks

I am afraid it has got to be the violet for both of them, son wants a blue colour and have not seen one yet. I have seen the gold colour on sony website but he does not like that colour.

I need your help, guys. My son wants me to buy the NWA 608 for Xmas, will have to settle for the purple, daughter wants one as well. Shame there is not much choice of colours here in UK. Have seen one at Pixmania, the cheapest is £135. My main problem is i have got windows 98SE who does not support connect. I have already got a NWE with sonic stage 3.3. Shall I risk it and buy the player and use sonicstage with it? I will be getting a new compputer after the New Year and they cannot wait that long. Another solution is for them to have it done at their friend's place. Please, what advice can you give me. Thanks
