I didnt want to buy a video player device and I like the noise cancel function and the big battery life of s706.Also,s706 has 4 GB memory at 95euros and a805 has 2GB and 139euros at the same store... I have adjust the EQ settings,dont worry,you must put the high and mid at the higher position,to hear a little clearer sound..

Finally,did you played with the b100?How did you see this?

I would like to change it with a new one,but its not possible now.It is out of stock and if I will find another one at the other stores,which is a little difficult,then they will have stuck with old prizes like 169 euros. The strange is that sony does not answer and i am curious why...

Before 5 minutes I send this message at sony in Japan.I hope that they will replay me. Is it exist blue and purple models or the purple is familiar like blue?

If you mean about the pictures,they was shots from my scanner and they had bad quality.At any rate the device was not demo as i know..

Guys,sorry for the scanned pictures and the bad resolution,and thank u all for ur replays.I hope from these new pictures to be seen the purple(mauve) color of my device..I send message to Sony,but they didn' t answer yet.I left it to working loudly,up to four ours,and I think that I saw a small improvment on sq.I dont know if its my fantasy,but I think that I will change earpuds(maybe with the mdr-ex90).Will I see any difference in sq with them?

No ,I don't have a better way to took pictures..And if it is inside of the device's mading,the fake work?Who knows...

Guys,I think that it is worth the try.We must learn the truth,so i send an email at sony's support department.Have a look in my device with these clearer photos(I putted in my scanner ) and you will see the CE mark.I think that it reminds me the china's feak toys this secure mark at the back.

No,there is not difference in sound quality with or without open the noice cancelling choice.The only improvement when you are closing it,is that the hiss is not so loud. I will made a test as i have heard that the earpuds neads to "burning" first,until they will give the maximum of their sound quality,so i will left the player all night open,on maximum volume position! Dont worry,I have the fire extinguisher beside the bed.. Does it exist? Will i see any improvement? We will see...

Can i find any info from the device's serial number or the registration code?

Also inside the pack I found 2 bags with 2 pair silicon puds each one of them and the box was opened again.The bad is that i cant find another one s706,because this was the last one in all of chain stores,and this model has discontinued now..

But isnt so strange that i cant find where my device has made??

I bought from a chain store(multirama.gr),here in Greece.

The not so good sound quallity(I have wrote a post about it in the "Equipment Reviews + Pictorials-NW-S700 vs NW-E010 vs NWD-B100 series") and that i cant see the made in country writting at the back of my device.

What do you think?

Thanks for your replying.I dont know if it has problem or not,because I dont have another one to compare them.But it seems strange to me that I didnt found the manufactor country,not only back of the device,but also I didnt found something on the box case,only the manuals have the "printed in Malaysia" phrase.But if this was a imitation stuff,I have to say that it would be the better imitation that I have ever seen!(but i think it isnt,because i will have reason to do a prosecution at the big chain store that i bought it,for deception..) I will waiting your news for the b100. Can any other help me before the 5 days for the returning back the s706 will pass along?

I am holder of an old wm-fx423 cassette-radio player and a mz-r55 minidisc player and i desided to come into DAPs world.After so much searching in your site's pages and after so much reading of your posts,there is not doubt that most of you,are fans of the wonderful s700 series.The reason that i am typing this post,is that i wonder if somebody of you,has do a real sound comparison test,between these 3 art models of Sony. I will not hide that I bought the 2GB nwe-015 for 85 euros,but i went it back,because i found somewhere else the 4GB nw-s706 for 95euros.But before i returned it,i had the time to play with it and i realized that the sound quality was very rich and clarity with my mdr-q55 earpuds and even with the terrible cheap earpuds that it was included in the box.Then I was thinking to keep it and buy a pair of mdr-ex90,for full sound quality experience(but it was about 70-80euros more). But as i was reading your posts and i already had seen the s706 price and reviews,i changed my mind because i would have some extra pros like more cappacity,noise cancel function,a very good pair of earpuds(expensive if you buy seperately),much bigger battery life and i supposed that it would be the perfect packet for this value. Finally I bought the s706 and i was very proud for the good deal.I went home,I charged it,i loaded with songs and i turned it on.I can say that i really felt disapointment with the sound quality.With the build in earpuds i recieved muffled sound,not so vividness as i expected and some hiss at the backround(even if you have close the noise cancel function).With my mdr-q55 was so and so.You are not feeling that you are "in the sound".I think that nwe015 had better sound from this,but i am not sure what would changed if i would try them with a pair of mdr-ex90 and i have not the possibility to compare listening of them together.What do you recommend to do,to change the s706 for the e015?Have you seen any difference to s706 with other earpuds?Is the SQ of mwd-b100 series better?Please,give me your help..
