kodigo, I have an NWZ-A816 and tried to enter service mode as described on the screen you provided but it didn't work. the unit doesn't reboot. There is a warning about the voltage. Does that mean it won't work unless the player is fully charged or is it just a recommendation ? Or maybe I'm doing it wrong... the way I understand it : - switch on device - go to home menu - set hold switch on - press "option" key and do the following combination while pression "option" key : up - right - down - left - up - play - up - left - down - right - play - a color bar is supposed to appear on the screen - set hold switch off - unit is supposed to reboot - press "back" key to enter service mode is that right ?
