Thanks for your help. To: theFanboy, everything you recommended works. The player still has all of its functions, I've formatted and pressed the Reset button on the back many times. The unit is not recognized by any PC I connect it to. Thanks for your suggestion. To: golden ears, I followed your instructions, but device still does not show up. That's why I think we need some sort of Hard reset procedure. Thanks!

Does anyone have an Idea what would Cause the following Problem: When I Connect the Flash Player to the Computer I Get this Message: USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED One of the Usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. for assistance in solving this problem, click this message. When I click on the message a box comes up and shows unknown device attached to USB Root Hub is there a way to hard reset this device. The player functions normally, but will not communicate with any PC. Thanks
