  1. i have the same problem but unlike the nevster dont still have all my cd's. is a solution not just to copy the omgaudio folder from the mp3 player onto the computer, then reinitialise the player, then copy the folder back onto the device through windows explorer? i haven't tried this so would not advise it, but i'm running out of ideas. if anyone knows if it works or not, could u let me no, thanks a lot Jon
  2. my device is not being found by either sonicstage or mp3 file manager, and it appears the only solution is to initialise it, but this would mean getting rid of all the music on my player, which i do not have backup copies of. is there any way to somehow copy and paste my database from the mp3 player onto a hard drive and then copy it back??! any feedback would be appreciated. thank Jon
  3. will it work if i copy the omgaudio folder with all the songs and info onto my comp, then copy it back after initialising the player, because i dont have all the songs on my mp3 backed up???
  4. i have exactly the same problem and also have a NW-A3000, any new ideas?
  5. I've had my sony NW-A3000 for about a year and it's been working fine, but a few days ago i went onto sonicstage to try to transfer some songs and it says "media/device not found". I've tried uninstalling it, re-assigning a drive to it and even tried mp3 file manager which also fails to recognize the device. however, it still works fine when unplugged and i can even access all the files on the device through my computer. i've read about similar problems but cant find a solution, any ideas would be amazing! thanks, JON
