hi, i own a Sony NW-S603 walkman and have Sonicstage 4.3 installed. when i first got the player the software worked fine but when i was transfering songs my computer crashed, and then it happened again. ever since then ive been getting a message saying "updating sonicstage database" and i press yes and a new window pops up saying "converting database" but it closes. i am running on windows XP media center edition SP2. i have tried to uninstall and re install but it didnt work. ive tried to use the MDAC repair utility but it says i need to buy a macropool product. and ive tried installing MDAC from my windows cd but it copies the files to C:\Program Files\Common Files\System. please someone help me ive only had this player for 2 days.
