thank you for the reply. I am running 32-bit windows 7. I've downloaded the pa_drivers but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it. Which installer are you talking about? If I click on the "setup" icon in the unzipped pa_drivers folder, it just tells me that the correct drivers have already been installed. Sorry, I'm not too computer savvy...

I'm trying to get my old walkman loaded with music again but it seems windows 7 can't recognize it. The model is a NW-E407 and I used to run it on sonic stage 4.3 for Windows XP. Any ideas? I should add that I've tried the sony support site but they don't offer the driver software for anything newer than windows XP. I've tried reinstalling the newest sonic stage (including the walkman drivers) and I have the most up to date windows media player.
