Hi, the vaio P IS SLOW. I can not work with excell files, but keeping all other applications turned of. just excell alone, and it takes minutes, not to say hours, to complete simple tasks. I had read that is supposed that WINDOWS 7 improves the performance of the machine...??? The funny thing is that I bought the vaio just a month ago, I have nothing on the hard disck, I had dowloaded only skype, msn, google talk and google earth. nothing more than this. and the performance is VERY POOR. Please, tell me what can I do to IMPROVE performance? If I can not solve this problem, I'll have to go back to my old but always trustable HP PAVILION. thanks. Juan .
