Hi I got one of these and used Xilisoft MP4 Converter. ( Just Google ) This will convert .avi or any other format choose - i-pod mpeg-4 video minimal size as the output type & press encode. You can download and trial which will convert 5 mins only but will prove it works. A full licence will cost£18 however. Once converted you can drag and drop the encoded video though. Hope this helps !
