Now that i have the player, i can confirm that the Japanese S716F is compatible with an english operating system.

Hey, I have just purchased a Sony NWZ-S716F and the menu only shows Japanese, Unfortunately i cannot read it. Does anyone own this series player of the Japanese version? Can someone please make something like a mind map of the menus so that i have an idea of how to use it? Any help would be Great!!!

So can anyone here sum up what everyone has said What to do exactly to get it working!

With the Japanese A900 Series players, is it compatible with an english sonic stage, english vista, and the Japanese player? Has anyone ever got it working? Any english Support or just japanese?

Have you ever actually tried this yourself??? I have a source that says he has used english sonics stage, english vista and japanese S716F and it works fine, but i have never seen it myself. I want to buy one but i need confirmation that the player will sync properly if i am using english sonic stage and english Vista

Does anyone here own the Japanese version of the S718F or the 2,4,6gb models? I am thinking of buying one but there are still some things im not sure about. I only want to buy this player coz its japanese and that the earphones that come with it are one of the best THe only problem is that i cannot read japanese. If there is anyone who has this player, could you please make like a mind map of the menus and translate them into english for me Also, Say if i install sonic stage English onto an english Vista ultimate and the syncronise my music with sonic stage, will there be any problems, or do i have to use a Japanese operating system?
