Recentally I picked up the Sony Walkman NW-E505 (Japanese model) and most of my mp3s can be played on it. However some give me problems... they simply cant be played. If I try converting them to ATRAC via SS latest version they play, but badly.
The files Im trying to play are the audio of some of my DVDs (in Japanese - learning the language)... I ripped them to .avi and then extracted the audio, and my old mp3 player could play them fine.
Anyway, when trying to put these files accross (about 21mbs if that helps) I get the following message
Mp3 files with non-44.1kHz audio sampling rate will be transferred. Please note that some devices or medias can not support playback for files of this type.
-----------
What do I need to do to make these mp3s playable on the NW-E505?? I left my DVDs in Australia so I cant make the files again... but I want to be able to listen to the files.
Thanks in advance for any help given. If you need further information I will be happy to answer more questions. Ive tried everything I can think of and realised just how lacking my own knowledge of this kind of thing is. I like it when things are easy... my last player had no programs or anything, you put an mp3 on and it played it, you put a text file on and it ignored it... I really am finding the Sony experience to be rather user-unfriendly.
