  1. Thanks again I have followed your instructions and I am now able to transfer mp3 files ripped by SonicStage to my netmd player. My next test is to rip mp3s using audiograbber. When I rip CDs in audiograbber is it important to mark the file as original?
  2. Thanks for the reply. I get the following message when I go to properties etc. of an mp3 file I ripped using SonicStage. Playback restrictions: None No. of times played: 0times No. of times transferred: 0times Remaining transfer count: Unlimited Remaining ATRAC CD transfer count: Unlimited Remaining audio CD transfer count: Unlimited I cannot convert the mp3s to atrac in SonicStage either. I do not have the same issue when I rip in atrac format. The ripped files transfer to the netmd player.
  3. This is my first post so please be patient. I have a Sony net md minidisc player (mz-ne410) which I bought in the US. I downloaded the latest version of Sonic Stage from the net. If I rip a CD to mp3 in SonicStage it will not allow me to transfer the files to my minidisc player. I get an error message "Transfers are not allowed". Is there a reason for this? Am I doing something wrong? It doesn't happen if I rip to oma files though. I would prefer mp3 rips because they are more usuable on other equipment. I have uninstalled and redownloaded SonicStage and then reinstalled it to no avail. Can anyone help please?
