Should WMP11 be able to play a DVD film that was bought from a shop. The message I get is from web help that I need to buy the correct codec. Have I missed something in the WMP11 download?

I have just bought a Sony walkman and I'm trying to find out if there is a way to delete a song from within the walkman not via the computer. I can delete via Windows explorer, but I would like to delete/ erase from the walkman
