After reading your SS software faq (as I should have done ibn the first place) the problem is now solved. Now all I need to do is try to move it from my c: to my external hd. If anyone can help with this (even pointing me to a link) it would be of enormous help. Many thanks Rob

Good morning all. After initially uninstalling SS 3.1 I have now re-installed it via disk. It won't open and the message I always get is: "Updating SonicStage database. SonicStage will be restarted after the update has completed." Alas it never does. Any ideas on what I can possibly do. Many thanks Rob

Thanks. My problem now is that i've uninstalled SS (3.1) and now can't find a 3.1 to install and when i've tried 2.3 and 4.3 they won't install. Proper mess and fear for my music collection. Should have had a bit of patience. Any tips greatly recieved Rob

Thanks for the help on moving my sonicstage3.1 tfrom my c to my external drive but it would not go. I have uninstalled but can only reinstal 2.3 or 4.3 and they won't open.) Is there any way I can download 3.1? Frankly i've made a total mess of the whole shooting match and fear I may have lost 11,000 songs. Mind you most of them need losing. Good morning all. I currently have Sonic Stage on my C: but have just purchased a 500g external HD. Is there a way of moving it to the external and not having it on the C: at all. I have had a go simply by right click move here but to no avail. I fear it's way beyond me. Many thanks Rob
