  1. I don't drag, i import from this specific folder. Everything I want backed up is in SS right now, so I am using the tool as we speak to back up the current library. Once I get the new SS, I will recover what is backed up (my current library in SS) then I will put the folder I import music from on the new comp. This way I have the current library recovered, and if need be I can import from that folder again. Does this sound correct?
  2. Thank you juli. I will try that and hope for the best...sounds like it should work. I do have an external HD. By using the SS backup tool, I'm assuming it backs the library up specific to the SS software, not the music files? Because I do have all of the music in a folder right now, which is where I am pulling it from into SS. I will transfer that over as well, but I'm assuming it's not reading from that folder after it is entered into the SS library? Anyway, I will do what you said, sounds good.
  3. Hey Guys, Not new to the forum but a first post for me. I am switching computers soon and I want to transfer SonicStage over to the other computer without losing how my music is tagged, since SonicStage is notorious for scrambling albums(meaning once I imported my music I had to manually change the songs title etc so they would all be in one album before i put it on the HD5). I know I have to transfer my music source as well. Is this even possible to do or do I have to start from scratch and import my entire library again and sit down for hours making sure the music is correct...? Any help greatly appreciated, sorry if this has been covered.
