[NWZ-s618F test mode]

Hi,

Is there anyway in unlocking the full volume potential of the NWZ-S618F walkman, because when the volume is on 20, it barely increases untill 30. Also I have found the test mode file for the NWZ-A82XX series (bluetooth walkmans) and this testmode work's on the NWZ-S618F walkman.

But there must be a way to make the NWZ-S618F to Japanese spec as this is much louder than the UK spec, as a friend of mine has the Japanese version.

Hi, yes the firmware on my s618F (similar in shape to the S515) is version 1.00, I have found a way of accessing the firmware setting's in terms of the test mode as it can be used to possibly hack the EU volume limit.

If you want it, to access the testmode see the attachment.

Please note it is for the top range NWZ-A82X range walkmans.
