Hello All, I have finally, after a few months and many hours, figured out how to get past a problem I have seen many times in threads about SonicStage 4.3. So the problem is basically this: 1) You get a new vista computer 2) You install SonicStage 4.3 on it 3) It tells you that you can not use your existing songs on your mp3 player and must delete them 4) you bite the bullet and do so 5) you try to connect to your old computer and get the same reformat message. So basically there is a intentional bug that will not let you use your mp3 player with more than one computer without reformating your drive each time. The idea was to make sure you are registered with the connectstore so they can monitor you and keep you from stealing music. Here is the solution. Get your old cd that came with your mps player. I have 3.0 but it should work for anything before for. Install it on vista even though you know it will not run. Select the Canadain version. Once it is installed plug in your mp3 player and run sonic stage. It should run the first time and this is enough to register the mp3 with your computer. Then upgrade to 4.3 and download your music. Its so simple I want to kick myself for deleting all my songs in the first place. Hope this saves somebody some stress Keith
