So they are disabled by default, thats good. I do not want to convert all my esisting mp3 files, just transfer them and play them in mp3 format. Regards
-
Hi Thanks for sorting that out Best Regards

Hi Does SonicStage automatically convert all mp3 files to atrac when transfered to the unit. I doesn't find any setting for that in the preferences. Does Connect Player have this setting in preferences?

Hi does anyone have a Conect Player Help file (chm file) or whatever format that is used in the pgrogram. The PDF file that exsits on the official Sony site isn't very detailed. Bu hopefully the help file that comes with the program is. I havent bought the player yet and therefore don't have the Connect Player program. But I would really appreciate it if someone could post that file so I could look into it and see what functions the program have. Regards

Hi again Thats good, but what about playlists that are allready on the unit? Do I see them in Connect player when the unit is connected to the computer. And can I edit them inside connect player? Regards
-
Hi Obli Thanks for sharing your experience! Maybee you also know the answer of my post here... http://www.atraclife.com/forums/index.php?...topic=756&st=10 I do hope Sony will make some major updates to the Connect software soon, beacuse of the poor software I still haven't bought one yet. I want one, but not with a software like that.

Hi Anyone tryed a new installation of the connect player software, updated it with the latest patches? Is the software stable and works ok or is there still problems?
-
Just to be sure here, Can I open up a exsisting playlist from the unit and edit it in Connect player?
-
Hi I wonder if you have tryed it with the NW-A3000 unit? Regards
-
Hi xispe Will future versions of GYM be able to export tracks from the unit to the local hard drive? Regards
-
Hi Are you saying I can't edit the playlist that I have on the player in the Connect program? Is the playlist creation then a one time operation wher I create it first in Connect, send it to the unit. And if I then need to edit it I have to delete it or edit in the player? Is that how it works? The preferable way would be to see the units playlist in the connect program, select the one you need to edit and then do just that in the Conect program. Regards

Hi I wonder if it is possible to see the playlists/tracks on the player in connect and select to edit a playlist in the player? Regards
-
Hi Thanks for the links, but I was kinda looking for a more detailed manual of the connect software, I'm think of "creating playlists", importing individual mp3 files into playlists, creating, edit playlists. Have anyone tryed the GYM program together with the NW-A3000? Is that the only option if one want to export mp3 files freom the player to the local harddrive? Or can this be done in Connect? Regards
-
Hi I wonder if MP3FileManager 2.0 and GYM is compatible with NW-A3000. Also does anyone know if there are any manuals for the Connect program available for download? Regards
-
So the player hasen't been released in US yet... That I didn't know. Well then there's definitly going to be updates to the connect software. I'm pretty sure that Sony's support otherwize will be kept buzy.

Hi The one I've been looking at is the iAudio x5, it has color display, video playback and some other stuff. But the most important thing for me is the mp3 playback, sound quality and easy navigation. iPod is not an option at all for me. When looking in the manual for the NW-A3000 the navigation seems to be very logical and easy. iAudios navigation doesn't seem that logical and easy that I would like it to be. What do you guys think, will there be any more firmware and software upgrades for this model?

Hi Thats good to hear, I still haven't decided if I should by the A3000 yet. When it first saw the commercial for it, I wanted one immediately. But after reading all the posts about the crapy software and my contact with the Sony support I'm not that sure anymore. What would your advice be? Do you recommend this player? Best Regards

Hi I asked the sony support if the NW-A3000 equalizer is available for mp3 files, and the reply I got was.... "The Connect software converts all mp3 files to atrac files, and the players equalizer therefore only support atrac files" Is this really true!!?? In that case this player is not even a mp3 player only a atrac player. Could someone please spread some light here? Also Have the new update of the connect software fixed the problems that it had or are there still bugs left?
