  1. Hi again, I tried using the software recommended. It converted a few of the files but not many. It says "the specified source format could not be read" despite all the files being .omg. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I'm starting to think about giving up on this. Maybe the files are corrupted. Jenna.
  2. Thanks Jan. I will try that tonight. Jenna.
  3. Hi, The hard drive on my computer is broken. It won't boot but all the files are still intact, including my Sonicstage atrac files. I can access the broken hard drive but have had to reinstall Sonicstage. I know that you have to convert the files in order to use them in a new version of the software. I did this and now some of them work and some of them don't. Whether they work or not appears to be random. Most were imported from CDs. I longer have the CDs so am really disappointed that I can't access the music. Some of the files that I can't access are on my NW A3000 device. However, if I ever want to put new music on this device, I have to delete everything on it as it needs to be reformatted with the new version of Sonicstage. This renders the device useless, unless I want to listen to the same music forever! Is there any 3rd party sofware which could help with this problem? I have looked at GYM but don't know if it will help as my files are all atrac not mp3. I wondered if I could convert the atrac files to mp3 and then use GYM? I would really appreciate any help with this. I don't want to lose my music. Thanks, Jenna.
