I'm so sick of all the people 'selling' the unlock, I've paid for an 'auction' telling people it is free and where to get it... Here's my link... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 VB.

I have one of those and it works great. Only thing is that it is another set of batteries to buy! Also completely illegal in U.K. I've also just bought a better device off ebay - it's an fm modulator that fits behind the car stereo and inputs the fm signal from any connected device into the car stereo. Runs from car 12v supply so no batteries to buy. Still illegal tho'! Search in ebay for this item number to see details - 5851251123 [just copy and paste the numbers into search bar]. VB.

p.s. Here's another one that would be nice... a 'play next' option so you can browse to a track and select it to 'play next' after current track playing. VB.

I found some info on Amazon.co.uk which states the cradle functions include:- 1: Speed charge of the battery during connection via the AC power adaptor 2: Data transfer from and synchronization with the PC 3: Line-out for connection to speakers Can any of you NWA3000 experts confirm this?? Thanks! VB.

I just searched for NWA3000 on ebay.co.uk and found someone 'selling' the volume unlock. This is outrageous. VoodooBilly.

I may have missed something, but can someone please explain the uses of the cradle that can be bought for the NWA300? Can you transfer tracks from p.c. to NWA3000 using it? Can tracks be played back through the p.c. like when using the usb cable that came with the NWA3000? Does it have an audio out socket on the back? Thanks! VoodooBilly.

Here's my list of upgrades/options I would like to see.. 1: Menu option for screen to stay on all the time if required by user. 2: Something more descriptive / informative / interesting on screen when connected to p.c. [other than just 'connecting'. 3: Direct drag and drop / playability into device without Connect software. 4: Better 'screen saver' images [the ones that float past when playing]. 5: Connectivity / interaction with car stereo [ipod can do it]. 6: Controlable from p.c. when connected but audio thru unit's audio output socket and not through p.c. [net md could do it]. VoodooBilly.

Clear Case for NW-A1000/3000: CKH-NWA3000 and CKH-NWA1000

I got a silicon rubber case on ebay:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sony-Walkman-NWA-100...1QQcmdZViewItem voodoobilly. -
Thanks! Quite why anyone would wish to listen to music at a rate as low as 48kbps is beyond me! Voodoobilly.

Having just bought an NWA3000, I noticed that the battery is charged every time is connected to mu p.c. As batteries have a 'memory', it is always recommended that rechargeable batteries are not re-charged when only slightly discharged, but to allow to drain almost completely before charging. This, apparently, increases the battery life. Seems to me that the Sony system prevents this and will therefore lower the battery life. p.s. 35 hours battery time at full charge?? - rubbish!! more like 12 at most. Voodoobilly.
