    NWZ-A720/820 Series

I just verified this info with Sony Support for a second time and they assured me this player is NOT compatible with the Mac OS system. You can use itunes to sync, but it has to be on a Windows based OS with Windows XP SP2 or higher. Unless someone knows something that they don't???? If someone out there has actually tried it on a Mac, I would be curious to know the results.

    Line out on Sony NW-A808

Does anyone know if the NW-A808's WM-port have the line out capability like the ipods?? I am looking to purchase a headphone amp from Ray Samuels and he recommended that I not use the headphone jack for the line out. He says that the amp would have no effect if I use the headphone jack. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

    NW-A800 series colors

Try this ebayer.......I have done business with him personally and he is fantastic. I bought the 4gb NW-A806 from him in violet. Very fast shipping and replies to emails regularly. http://stores.ebay.com/J-pop-Store_Sony-MP...idZ2QQpZ2QQtZkm

I am currently running 4.2 with no need to upgrade to the new version...but now that I have this new player on the way I'm hoping someone can help me out. Also as a sidenote....I am running Windows ME.

    For Sale

I have an E005 for sale. I know that there are the new S series walkmans on the horizon, but I thought I would see if there is an interest. I really don't know what to ask for it....so I will leave that up to the responses here in this forum. It's about 6 months old, in perfect condition with all the software and accessories. I prefer Paypal and would like to keep the shipping area within the USA. So if anyone is interested out there make me an offer. Thanks. I know that someone out there will want to see pictures, but unfortunately I don't own a camera. Sorry
  9. I have sold all of my MD equipment and have a few accessories that I would like to sell to someone who might be able to get some use out of them. I have a barely used MC55ELK and a Sony BC-7HT world charger and also a Headroom Airbag. If anyone is interested just send me a PM and make an offer. I take Paypal and will also accept a Postal Money Order. Thanks
  10. Hey Jay. I just ordered one from www.advancedmp3players.com. It's a UK based website that ships worldwide. I highly recommend them. They are very quick and courteous and will respond to all emails within just a few hours. The only drawback is the volume crippled UK restrictions. However, it's not as bad as I first thought. They told me that they will have more of the NW-E005's in stock in about 10 days. Good luck!
  11. Does anyone know where I can get one of these besides the UK? I am in the USA. Some Japanese sites would be great if anyone can help me with that.
  12. Thanks Stuge....... Not sure if this makes a difference or not.........I imported all my CD's at 256 Atrac3+. I converted them for transfer to the device. Sony claims that the original recording remains on the harddrive and that when you convert the files there is another temp folder created. But like we have discussed, once you convert to a lower bitrate...apparently you can't change that. However, you can go back and transfer the orignal recording....but I converted for the sake of quantity vs quality. Thanks for the info Stuge
  13. I am running Sonic Stage 3.0. I converted all my music files to atrac3 @105kbps. I want to reconvert them to a higher bit rate....but since I have already converted them to a lower codec....I can't change the setting. Is there a way to do this without deleting all your CD's and re-importing them to the software?? Sony says you can't select a higher bit rate than the file you are trying to convert or reconvert in my case. Any help is greatly appreciated. This is my first go at the mp3 thing....not sure I like it or not. The software that Sony supplies is so restricted. Anyway, thanks for your help.
